I am delighted to be announcing the release of my latest Limited Edition Print, POISON IVY which is now available to pre-order here, directly from my website.
I painted this piece at the start of my journey as a newly independent artist with high emotion and energy pulsing through my veins.
It was late summer... where neon green was the boldest colour trend of the season and Billie Eilish was constantly on my speaker ...(also wearing lime green... So now you can see where the aesthetics sparked from!) ...and all I wanted to do was to make a bold mark of my own... on my new path.
With all of this in mind, I embarked on this creative journey and attacked the canvas with raw energy, trying to rid the nervous energy which riddled me each morning. Sometimes the reason I love painting so much is because I can be whoever I want to be within the studio, I can convey any mood I want and with this piece I created a badass femme fatale with bags of attitude, with the juxtaposition of beauty and darker undertone which I love to express so much.
I hope you feel the energy which I used to express within this piece and it fills you with positivity to empower you to be whoever you want to be.
